1. You will not labour in vain!
You will enjoy what you’ve worked for
The Lord will give you the grace to labour for what counts.
I think there are three types of works. Let us look at the first type.
1. Works that help you pay your bills and provides for your comfort.
You will need to keep working to sustain the benefits from this type of work.
Most people spent at least 40% (+travel time) daily on this type of work to survive.
Key lessons:
Don’t work too hard!
Work smart!
Activity does not guarantee productivity; you may not necessarily earn more by doing more, you could even be paying more tax.
You need the grace of God to earn more.
Don’t just work to pay bills; work to invest in something that will bring income when you are not working
Don’t neglect your family and friends because of your work. Take care of your family and spend time with them. Don’t let work stop you from cooking for your spouse.
Invest in relationships
If you are sick for more than 3 months the only people who may care for you are your family members and not your company. The only people who are likely to lend you money without interest in times of need are family and friends.
Remember you are not the first worker in your company and you will not be the last so spend your time wisely and invest in your future.
Finally don’t labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life.
Jn6:27 Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes [in the using], but strive and work and produce rather for the [lasting] food which endures [continually] unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that . Textword
