Fruit of the Spirit
The fruit of the spirit is what the Holy Spirit produces in us as we yield to him. As children of light we are required to bring honour and glory to God through our character. The fruit of the spirit are qualities (or character) that are expected to be seen in us as believers. The fruit of the Spirit is a way of proofing what is acceptable to God.
Ephesians 5:8-10 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
There is no law against the fruit of the Spirit-Gal 5:22-23.
